Tsavo East Safari

The giant elephants of Tsavo like to roll about in the rosy-hued soil, giving them a makeover and a great display of color for the park’s visitors.

At first glance, Tsavo East is massive, dry, and dusty. But as you safari over these wide plains, you’ll discover many unexpected contrasts in this the largest of Kenya’s many national parks.

Dotted throughout Tsavo are various watering holes providing sustenance to the park’s lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, and many smaller species like gerenuk, impala, and Masai giraffe. You’ll also discover the oasis of the Galana River drawing a green line through the park with its banks of lush foliage.

ITINERARY

Day 1:Depart from Nairobi to Tsavo

Early morning pick up from hotel and drive through the city center to join the great transafrican highway along the Nairobi Mombasa road.

The journey takes you through lovely sceneries in the eastern part of Kenya, sight seeing wild animals on the way and the different cultural setting of the community around.

After a 4hr drive you will arrive at a stop over town in Mtito andei, where you will have a bathroom break, fuel up and continue with the journey.

It a 1 hour drive to the next town Voi town, where you will branch and head straight to the Tsavo East National Park main gate.

You will do a game drive enroute to the lodge and arrive at your camp where you will be greeted by the warm friendly staff, beautiful and magnificent serene. After a briefing the guest will check in at the Exclusive Tents where they will settle down for the afternoon with a late lunch where variety of delicacies are served at the main dining area with a lot of ambience.

At 4pm guest meet at the reception lounge area for an evening tea and after set out for the evening game drive, later  dinner and then rest.

Day 2:Full day game drive in Tsavo East National Park

Breakfast at 7.30 and leave at 8am for the full day game drive in the park with a picnic lunch along the Galana Tsavo river sightseeing the falls.

Early morning breakfast, check out with enroute game drive and drive to Nairobi with a drop off at hotel of choice.
